Arriving on campus when Lynn began competing at the NCAA Division II level, Nicolaisen joined the Fighting Knights in 1997 and was a vital component over a four-year career (1997-2000).  During her time donning the Blue & White, she helped LU to three NCAA tournament appearances, including the program’s first ever NCAA National Title, and fourth overall, in 1998.  In that season she was honored as the SSC Player and Female Athlete of the Year and was named the NSCAA National Player of the Year.  A three-time NSCAA All-American, Nicolaisen ranks fourth in goals (31) and points (79) and fifth in assists (17) for a season and ranks first in game-winning goals (18), second in goals (87) and points (220) and third in assists (46) for a career.  Not only did her final career statistics put her in the top-three at Lynn but Nicolaisen is ranked 10th in points, 11th in points per game, 12th in goals and 20th in assists for her NCAA career.
