Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) serves as the governing body for Lynn University’s student-athletes. The SAAC is a committee consisting of two representatives from each of our 14 teams assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is advised by Lynn alum and former volleyball student-athlete Kara Bailey, Coordinator of Life Skills and SAAC.
The main role of the SAAC is to act as the team’s “voice” for communicating information to the coaches and administrative staff; as well as, serve as voting members concerning departmental issues to better enhance the student-athlete experience at Lynn University. The SAAC offers input on rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes’ lives.
Working hand-in-hand with the efforts of the NCAA Life Skills Program, the SAAC assists in events and evaluates their success for further development of implanted seminars and workshops.
