Andrew Lalli was hired in August 2016 as an assistant athletic trainer. He will be working primarily with the women's soccer, women's swimming and baseball.
Lalli comes to Boca after serving as a resident assistant athletic trainer at Florida Gulf Coast University. At FGCU he was responsible for providing and managing medical care for the women’s indoor and beach volleyball and co-ed cheerleading teams. He also managed both team injury documentation in the Athletic Trainer System and the medical equipment inventory for the Alico Arena Athletic Training Room.
Prior to working at FGCU, Lalli was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Florida where he was a part of the sports medicine team that oversaw the 2012 SEC women’s cross country, 2013 NCAA men’s outdoor track & field, and 2014 SEC women’s indoor track & field championship teams.
Lalli is currently a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Athletic Trainers’ Association of Florida and Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association. He also has Heartsaver First Aid, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Corrective Exercise Specialist certifications.
In May of 2012, Lalli graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in athletic training. Lalli completed his Master of Science degree in applied physiology and kinesiology in May of 2014.
