Raphael Wald, PsyD, ABN, CC-AASP is a Florida licensed psychologist and board certified neuropsychologist. He is also an executive board member of the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology and a certified consultant of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. He joined the Fighting Knights' staff in August 2017 to work with each of Lynn's 275-plus student-athletes. He also serves as the team psychologist for Florida Atlantic University, a Division I university with approximately 500 student athletes. Dr. Wald also works for the Chicago Cubs as a psychological analyst.
Dr. Wald completed his Doctorate of Psychology degree at the University of Hartford during which time he undertook full year rotations in psychology and neuropsychology at the University of Connecticut Health Center, The Veteran's Affairs Hospital, and Harvard-Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He completed his predoctoral internship in Psychology and Neuropsychology at the Neurological Institute at North Broward Medical Center and his postdoctoral residency at Pediatric Psychology Associates in Coral Springs, Florida.
Dr. Wald is a published author, and has been practicing psychology, performance psychology, and Neuropsychology in Florida since 2010 and specializes in performance psychology as well as the diagnosis and treatment of depression and anxiety.
