    Miami Shores, Fla. – Lynn University’s baseball team was neck-and-neck with conference-leading Barry University on Saturday, but suffered two tough defeats, 10-8 and 9-7 in a Sunshine State Conference (SSC) doubleheader. Joe Argumedo had three RBI on the day, including a homer in game two, to lead the offensive effort.

    LANTANA, Fla. –  Lynn University’s baseball team received an outstanding pitching performance from senior Ryan Orender, who struck out nine over 7.0 innings, to lead it to an 8-3 non-conference win on Monday against Caldwell University. James Buckley homered to help the Fighting Knights offensive effort, his second consecutive game with a home run.

    Boca Raton, Fla. – Lynn University’s baseball team escaped Saturday’s Sunshine State Conference (SSC) doubleheader with a split against the visiting Eckerd College Tritons, falling 12-7 game one before winning the series’ final game 7-2 in seven innings. Game two was called due to darkness after the seventh.

Jake Buxbaum notched a two-inning save to preserve the Blue and White’s one-run cushion with James Buckley throwing out the tying runner from right field to end the eighth.

Anthony Sanabria put Lynn in front with a double to right before Tom Archer broke it open with a three-run homer to left, securing the Blue and White’s first home SSC win of the season.
