  • Men’s Basketball Receives NABC Team Academic Excellence Award; Five Named to the Honors Court

    Long after the season has ended, Lynn University’s men’s basketball team continues to be recognized on a national level. The Fighting Knights have received Team Academic Excellence recognition by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). Additionally, five student-athletes were named to the NABC Honors Court, leading the Sunshine State Conference in most honorees.
  • Men’s Basketball Set to Host Team Camp

    Lynn University’s men’s basketball head basketball coach Jeff Price and staff is set to host a record-breaking 43 teams for this year’s High School Team Camp, which will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday June 19-21, at the de Hoernle Sports and Cultural Center. Last year’s winner, Blanche Ely of Pompano Beach, looks to retain its title from Sunday’s single elimination tournament while also returning to the court is 2013 champion Sagemont.
  • Men’s Basketball Signs DI Transfer Emmanuel Owootoah

    Lynn University’s men’s basketball head coach Jeff Price excitedly announced the addition of Emmanuel Owootoah on Friday afternoon. Owootoah comes to Lynn after playing two years at Division I Fresno State and is the final piece to the 2015 recruiting class for the Fighting Knights.
  • Men’s Basketball Inks Two Division I Transfers

    Lynn University’s men’s basketball head coach Jeff Price is pleased to announce the signing of Denzel Richardson and Vieux Kande, a pair of NCAA Division I transfers. The addition of the duo to the recruiting class marks the third year in a row Price has signed at least six players in the off season.
  • Men’s Basketball Adds Allen Baez for 2015-16

    Lynn University men’s basketball head coach Jeff Price announced the signing of Allen Baez on Thursday afternoon. Baez, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound guard, joins Jamal Palmer, Corey Ratcliff-Alpough and Ja’wan Smith as the fourth member of the recruiting class.
  • Men’s Basketball Inks Duo from Northern Oklahoma-Enid

    Head coach Jeff Price was thrilled to announce the signing of Corey Ratcliff-Alpough and Ja’wan Smith from Northern Oklahoma College-Enid as additions to the Lynn University men’s basketball team on Monday afternoon. Ratcliff-Alpough and Smith will join former NOCE teammate and current Fighting Knight Ben Berry on the court for the 2015-16 season.
  • Men’s Basketball Announces First Signee of 2015

    Head coach Jeff Price proudly announced the signing of Jamal Palmer as the first signee of the 2015 men’s basketball recruiting class on Thursday morning. Palmer graduates from local Grandview Prep this May and will join eight returners from this season’s squad.
  • Men’s Basketball Team Camp Set for June 19-21

    The Fighting Knights men’s basketball team is hosting its annual High School Team Camp at the de Hoernle Sports and Cultural Center on the campus of Lynn University in Boca Raton on June 19-21. Registration is now open online for this three-day event that is run by Lynn Head Coach Jeff Price and his coaching staff.
  • Harrison Sets Scoring Record at Reese’s/NABC Division II All-Star Game

    Lynn University senior Aaron Harrison was the first player in program history to be invited to play in the Reese’s/NABC Division II All-Star game following a stellar final season with the Blue & White. He led the West to a 140-112 win with a record breaking 25 points shooting 7-for-9 from three-point range.
  • Lynn’s Harrison Selected to Play in NABC Division II All-Star Game

    The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the rosters for the 2015 Reese’s Division II College All-Star game, which will be played as a part of the 2015 NCAA Division II Men’s Elite Eight. Lynn University senior Aaron Harrison was selected as one of three athletes that will represent the South Region. Harrison becomes the first selection in Fighting Knights history and the fifth overall from the Sunshine State Conference.
  • Harrison Named to NABC All-District Second Team

    The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the 2015 NABC Division II All-District teams and coaches, recognizing the best men’s collegiate basketball student-athletes and coaches in the division. Lynn’s Aaron Harrison was honored as a Second Team All-South District Selection, becoming the third athlete, and fourth selection overall, in the Fighting Knights history.
  • Men’s Basketball to Face No. 1 Florida Southern in NCAA South Region Final Tuesday Night

    Lynn University’s men’s basketball team is the only No. 6 seed from its region left in the NCAA Division II Sweet Sixteen. The Fighting Knights (21-9) are set to face top-ranked and No. 1 seed Florida Southern at 7 pm in Jenkins Field House on the campus of Florida Southern College for the championship game of the South Region Tournament on Tuesday night. The winner of Tuesday’s game will earn its spot in next week’s Elite Eight at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind., which will run from March 25-28.
  • Clock Strikes 12 on Men’s Basketball’s Cinderella Run; Fighting Knights Fall in NCAA South Region Final

    Lynn University’s sixth-seeded men’s basketball team fell 88-80 in the NCAA South Region Tournament Finals on Tuesday night to top-ranked Florida Southern (33-1). Senior Aaron Harrison and junior Fred Landers were both named to the All-Tournament Team as the duo put together a few of their best offensive performances of the season during the tournament. Harrison had 20 points in the loss while Landers contributed 13 points and nine rebounds falling just shy of a double-double.

    Could the third time be the charm for Lynn University’s men’s basketball team? The Fighting Knights (20-9) are set to face No. 2 Barry in the NCAA South Region Tournament Semifinals on Sunday at 5 pm in Jenkins Fieldhouse on the campus of Florida Southern College. The Blue & White were swept by nationally-ranked Barry in the Sunshine State Conference regular season but this time the story is different. The sixth-seeded Fighting Knights are ready for their biggest game of the season and who better of an opponent than their biggest SSC rival?

The Fighting Knights upset No. 2 seed and Sunshine State Conference rival Barry, 90-82, in the NCAA South Region Semifinals on Sunday night. The victory places the Blue & White in the regional finals for the first time since 2005 and can history repeat itself? That year Lynn reached the Division II Final Four and posted a 29-6 record.

    It’s been 10 years since the Lynn University men’s basketball team appeared in the NCAA Tournament, and this weekend the Fighting Knights (19-9) are more than ready for their long anticipated return. Lynn earned the No. 6 seed in the region and will face Gulf South Conference Regular Season Co-Champion and Tournament Champion Alabama-Huntsville in the first round of the South Region Tournament on Saturday, March 14, at 12 pm.

    On Saturday afternoon the Lynn University’s men’s basketball team returned to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in ten years and made quite the statement in a 80-62 win over No. 3 seed Alabama Huntsville. Lynn improves to 20-9 overall tallying its first 20-win season in nine years and will play the winner of No. 2 Barry/No. 7 Union on Sunday, March 15 at 5 pm.

    Lynn University?s men?s basketball team has earned its first NCAA Division II Tournament bid in ten years. The Fighting Knights (19-9) were selected as the sixth seed in the South Region. This marks the first time since 2004-05 that the Blue & White has reached the regional tournament and fifth time since joining the NCAA in 1996-97.

    Lynn University’s bid for a Sunshine State Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament Championship was ended in a 79-66 loss to top-ranked Florida Southern (29-1) on Saturday night at the Silver Spurs Arena. Senior Aaron Harrison led the team with 14 points while Ben Berry and Russell Wilson also scored in double figures.

  • Last Second Wilson Layup Leads Men’s Basketball to Victory in SSC Tournament

    It has been six years since Lynn University’s men’s basketball team last won a Sunshine State Conference Championship game, so what was five more minutes. Russell Wilson missed on a layup in regulation but converted on a layup with 0.2 seconds remaining in overtime to give the Fighting Knights an 84-83 victory over Florida Tech. Lynn improves to 19-8 overall.

    Lynn University’s men’s basketball team dropped its regular season finale, 78-72, to Florida Tech (16-12, 6-10) at home on Saturday. Senior Aaron Harrison led the Blue & White with 18 points in the Fighting Knight’s third-straight loss. Lynn finishes the regular season 18-8 and 10-6 in SSC action, its best regular season in nine years. Lynn will head to the Sunshine State Conference Tournament as the #4 seed this Friday, March 6, and will play the fifth-seeded Panthers of Florida Tech.

    Fred Landers and Russell Wilson combined for 44 of Lynn University’s points in the Fighting Knights 92-80 win over Palm Beach Atlantic in non-conference play on Wednesday night. Landers led the team with 23 points, five rebounds and a pair of blocks for his best performance of the season. Wilson recorded a career-high 21 points nine rebounds and three steals and connected on nine-of-ten shots from the free throw line.

    Lynn University senior Aaron Harrison was named the Sunshine State Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. The Atlanta, Ga., native claimed the weekly honor for the first time in his career after averaging 27 points over the week.
  • Harrison Leads Knights as Men’s Basketball Rallies From 26-Point Deficit to Stun Saint Leo

    Trailing by 26 points, their largest margin of the season, the Fighting Knights of Lynn University’s men’s basketball team rallied in the second half to defeat Saint Leo (12-13), 70-67, on Saturday evening. The Blue & White improves to 17-5 overall and 10-3 in Sunshine State Conference action while handing the Lions their ninth loss of SSC play. Lynn sweeps SLU in league play for the first time since the 2011-12 season.
