Men’s Basketball Jumps to No. 14 in Media Poll; Holds in Coaches Poll

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The latest editions of the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and D2SIDA National Media polls were released on Tuesday, with the Lynn University men's basketball team featured in both sets of national rankings.

The Blue and White held its post from a week ago at No. 17 on the NABC rankings, but bumped up three spots to No. 14 on the media poll. Lynn has now been nationally ranked for seven consecutive weeks while the No. 14 ranking is the team's highest so far this season.

Since last week's polls, the Fighting Knights suffered a two-point loss at No. 5 Nova Southeastern before posting an 85-81 road victory at Tampa over the weekend.

The NSU Sharks are the only other Sunshine State Conference team represented on either poll, coming in at No. 5 on both lists.

Bellarmine has yet to give up its top spot on each of the polls with a 16-0 record on the season.
