Men’s Basketball Moves up on Both National Polls

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Following a pair of conference wins last week, Lynn University's men's basketball team continued its climb up the national rankings with the release of both polls yesterday.

The Blue and White moved up four spots to No. 13 on the coaches poll from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), while rising three spots to a tie for No. 11 on the D2SIDA National Media poll.

Lynn's No. 11 ranking is the highest the program has been ranked since at least 2014-15.

Since last week's polls, the Fighting Knights posted home wins over both Barry (72-71) and Rollins (80-77). The squad is currently 16-2 overall on the season with a 12-0 mark at home.

Nova Southeastern leads the way for the Sunshine State Conference, ranked No. 5 in both polls. Florida Southern and Eckerd are both receiving votes in the NABC poll, while the Tritons debuted at No. 23 in the media poll.

Bellarmine has yet to give up its top spot on each of the polls with an 18-0 record on the season.
