Men’s Basketball Remains Ranked in Both Polls

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Despite an upset on the road last Wednesday, Lynn University's men's basketball team remains nationally ranked in both polls. The Fighting Knights fall to No. 14 on the D2SIDA National Media Poll and to No. 21 on the coaches' poll from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

Since last week's polls, the Blue and White had a setback on the road at Palm Beach Atlantic (75-64) before defeating No. 23 Eckerd at the buzzer on Saturday (55-53).

The Fighting Knights have now been nationally ranked for nine consecutive weeks, with last week's No. 11 post on the media poll marking the team's highest ranking this season.

Out of the Sunshine State Conference, Nova Southeastern drops a few spots in each poll following a loss last week, coming in at No. 8 (NABC) and at No. 7 (D2SIDA). Florida Southern made its way back into both polls following its win over the Sharks.

Bellarmine was finally knocked off its post at the top with the team's first loss of the season. Northwest Missouri State (21-0) takes over as the No. 1 team on both polls.
