Davie, Fla. – Play was suspended due to weather at the 2018 Sunshine State Conference Men's Golf Championship on Monday. The Fighting Knights are in fifth place through six holes in the second round.
Rain covered the Grand Oaks Golf Club as the Blue and White had golfers playing on holes six through nine. Lynn has the second-lowest score of the round at three-under par and trails the leader, Florida Southern, by 10 strokes.
Play is scheduled to resume at 7:30 a.m. with the intention of completing the 54-hole tournament Tuesday. Should poor weather extend into Tuesday without another official round completed, the champion would be determined by the last completed round. At that point, Florida Tech led Barry by two strokes based off first round scores.
Felix Kvarnstrom shrugged off a disappointing opening round and was three-under par through 12 holes before stoppage. Carlos Bustos was one-under par through 12 holes while Toto Gana and Jorge Villar were one-over par. Manuel Torres was three-over par.
