Freshman (2016-2017): Joined the team in the spring and competed in seven tournaments…prior to joining the squad, won the 2017 Latin American Amateur Championship and participated in the 2017 Masters and British Amateur Championship…named a PING/GCAA Freshman All-American…led the team with a 72.33 stroke average while adding three top-10 finishes…made his debut at the Matlock Invitational (2/13-14) where he shot a 71 in the opening round en route to a season-best 213 total and tie for 13th place…earned his first career top-10 finish at the Gary Freeman B-CU Invite (3/2-3), shooting a 223 to tie for seventh…tied for sixth at the Bobcat Invitational (3/20-21) with a 54-hole score of 218…tied for 14th in his first Sunshine State Conference Championship (4/23-25)…tied for eighth at the NCAA South/Southeast Super Regional (5/8-10) with a 214 total (70-72-72)…posted a 54-hole score of 223 at the NCAA Division II National Championship (5/21-25)…went on to go a perfect 3-0 in national championship match play, defeating Florida Tech’s Jonas Kugel 71-72 in the quarterfinals, topping Arkansas Tech’s Austin Smith 71-72 in the semifinals and beating Florida Southern’s Michael Van Der Laan 69-71 in the championship match.

High School: Attended the Athletics Study Center of Santiago…won the 2017 Latin American Amateur Championship, earning an invitation to the 2017 Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club and earning exemptions into the U.S. Amateur, the Amateur Championship, sectional qualifying for the U.S. Open and final qualifying for the British Open Championship…participated in the 2016 Latin American Amateur Championship, missing the cut…represented his country at the 2015 Toyota Junior World Cup.
