    Lynn University’s men’s lacrosse team fell in a rain-soaked non-conference game to eighth-ranked Belmont Abbey 15-10 at home on Tuesday evening. Mikey Urso became the new points leader for the program, tallying four points, while Conor Vaughan poured in his first career hat-trick.

    Down 11-8 with just over five minutes to play in regulation, Lynn University’s men’s lacrosse team buckled down and scored three unanswered goals to send Saturday’s nonconference tilt to overtime. The Fighting Knights drew up an offensive play in a crucial timeout as Conrad Rhein put away the game-winner for a 12-11 victory over North Greenville University.

    Despite having a bye week and not playing a game, Lynn University’s men’s lacrosse team moved up three spots to No. 15 in the USILA/Warrior and New Balance Coaches Poll, as announced by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association on Monday.
  • Lynn Dominates SSC Player of the Week Honors

    Lynn University athletics had an incredible showing out of the league office on Monday afternoon, securing six Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week accolades. Michael Baez was named men’s basketball’s Player of the Week, Dryden Brous and Collin McClelland picked up two of the three men’s lacrosse awards, Helen Kreuzer was named the women’s Golfer of the Week with Florian Clemares and Natalia Siedliska clinching a Fighting Knights' sweep in the tennis category.

    If any part of the collegiate men’s lacrosse world was not paying attention to Lynn University before, they certainly are now. The Fighting Knights opened up their 2019 campaign at home on Sunday vs. seventh-ranked NYIT, thrashing the Bears in a dominant 19-5 victory. The win marks the first time in program history that the Blue and White defeated a team nationally ranked No. 7 or higher.

    Dryden Brous of the Lynn University men’s lacrosse team has recently been tabbed a Second Team Preseason All-American, released by Inside Lacrosse and published in the Face-Off Yearbook. The preseason accolade is the first for any player in program history.
  • Jerhoff Signs with Vancouver Stealth; First Lynn Lacrosse Alum to go Pro

    Austin Jerhoff, a 2017 alum of Lynn University and a four-year member on the Fighting Knights men’s lacrosse team, has recently signed a professional box lacrosse contract with the Vancouver Stealth of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). Jerhoff is the first-ever player from the Lynn lacrosse program to sign a professional contract.
