St. Petersburg, Fla. – A goal by Tomer Bitton in the 107th minute gave Lynn University's men's soccer team a 4-3 victory over 23rd-ranked Eckerd College on Saturday night.  Chris Hellmann scored the opening goal and tallied the assist on the final goal.

  • Eckerd took the lead with a pair of goals in the 52nd and 60th minutes.
  • James Casserly scored goals in the 71st and 77th minute to put Lynn ahead 3-2.
  • Antonio Alvarez scored his second goal of the match in the 90th minute to send the match into OT
  • Tomer Bitton scored his first career game-winning goal in the 107th minute.

STAT OF THE GAME

  • Lynn outshot Eckerd 20-15.
  • The two schools tied in corner kicks (4-4) and offside calls (3-3).
