Lynn University’s men’s swimming program continues to prove its promise early in its inaugural season, winning five events in a 164-95 dual defeat to Rollins College on Saturday afternoon.
The historic first season for the men’s swimming program continued on Friday with the first-ever home meet for the Fighting Knights.
It was the first stroke in the journey of the program as Lynn men’s swimming made its maiden voyage into the pool, following an hour-long weather delay, but what’s another 60 minutes when you have waited this long.
The Lynn University athletic department hosted its seventh annual Student-Athlete Recognition Awards show on Wednesday evening, handing out a record 44 awards to Fighting Knight student-athletes while also inducting the 18th Hall of Fame class.
Lynn University’s rapid sport expansion continues with the addition of men’s swimming. Today’s announcement marks the seventh sport added to the NCAA Division II Fighting Knights athletics programs since 2012 and fourth since 2016.
