Prior to arriving in Boca, the Seven Fields, Pa., native worked as a Master Instructor at Five-Star Athletics in College, Park, Md., where she served as the director of individual instructional events for softball athletes.

Moore came to Five-Start Athletics following a two-year stint as assistant softball coach for the University of Maryland-Baltimore.  Working two-years with the Retrievers, she was responsible for coaching pitchers, budgeting, travel and scouting.  Moore aided in the development of UMBC’s pitchers, culminating in the program’s first All-American East Conference pitching selection in four years.

Her coaching career began at Saint Francis University in 2007 where she served as the graduate assistant softball coach, specializing in pitching for two years.  Moore helped lead the Red Flash to the 2008 North East Conference Tournament for the first time in six years while also developing the program’s first All-NEC pitching selection in five seasons.

Moore was a successful four-year starting catcher at Robert Morris University from 2004-07.  She helped the Colonials to their first-ever NCAA Regional Appearance in 2005 while also claiming the NEC Regular Season and Tournament titles.  Holding a .345 career batting average with four home runs and 59 runs batted in, Moore was a two-time All-NEC selection.  She led her team in hitting as a junior and was second in batting her freshman and senior seasons.

Away from the playing field, she was a two-year member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, a student-athlete advisor on the NCAA Division I Certification Academic Integrity Sub-Committee and the team captain of the Student-Athlete Leadership Academy.

Moore completed her Masters of Education from Saint Francis in 2009 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Sports Management from Robert Morris in July of 2007.  Formerly Jill Dorsch, Moore was married to Jeff Moore in May of 2015
