Women's Basketball Adds Two for the 2017 Season

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Second-year head women's basketball coach, Julie Huddleston, inks two new signees to her 2017 class, as announced Monday Nov. 14. These two will join a young core which Huddleston would like to build upon.

"Our goal as a staff was to shoot for the stars with our early signees and this strategy was very successful," Huddleston said. "We have added two equally amazing young women to the Fighting Knight Family who both will be leaders in their career on the court, as well as in the classroom."

Kelsi Fizer

Fizer holds single season records as a South Paulding High Spartan including 498 points, 329 rebounds and 116 free throws made.
From the coach: "Kelsi Fizer is an athletic forward with a relentless motor. She will add another presence inside for us and help on the boards as soon as she sets foot on campus. Her desire to be a great teammate is evident every time you watch her and I can't wait to see her in the Blue and White."

Juju Uloma

Uloma hails from Imo State Nigeria, but played her high school basketball at Greenforest Christian Academy, where the 5'11 forward averaged nine points, nine rebounds and two steals for her career on the hardwood.

From the coach: "Juju Uloma is an incredible young woman that will bring a level of competitiveness that we love. At 5'11, she will bring great size to our backcourt and a passion for defense that is imperative in the SSC. I am excited for fans to meet and follow her for her career at Lynn."
