  • Vazquez Concepcion kept her squad in the game, scoring seven of her 20 points in the first quarter, in which the Fighting Knights held their only lead of the game. She added a rebound, dished out two assists, then made her presence felt on the defensive end, rejecting the ball once and picking a Tar pocket once.
  • Senior Brekia Henderson was the only other Fighting Knight in double-figures, adding 10 of her own to the scoring column. She contributed two boards and two assists to the box score.
  • The Blue and White and the Tars came in as the top two rebounding teams in the Sunshine State Conference, and Rollins gave Lynn a taste of their own medicine, outrebounding the road team, 49-35. Rollins also doubled the Fighting Knights's points in the paint, 52-26.
  • While the visiting team shot a mere 31.3% from the field, the Tars were efficient in all areas, converting 53% of the shots they put up.

  • Headed into tonight's game, the Tars and Fighting Knights faced-off as the top two rebounding teams in the SSC (46.4 and 40.9 RPG respectively).
  • This is fifth game for Vazquez Concepcion to record at least 20 points.
  • Playing away from the friendly confines of the de Hoernle Sports and Cultural Center has not been friendly to the Blue and White, and they now hold a 1-6 record away from Boca Raton.

The Fighting Knights will return home to host SSC opponent Eckerd College on Saturday, Jan. 21, at 2 pm.
