Lynn University’s women’s basketball team turned up the pressure in the fourth quarter on Wednesday night, making a push against Barry University but it was too little too late as the Bucs held on in a physical battle for a 66-56 Sunshine State Conference win.
A 31-point fourth quarter for host Palm Beach Atlantic was the deal breaker on Saturday afternoon as the Lynn University women’s basketball team saw its lead slip away down the stretch in a 70-61 setback to the Sailfish. Jaylen Snipes had a career performance for the Blue and White, totaling 21 points behind five three-pointers.
Lynn came out on top after outscoring Eckerd 19-9 over the final 10 minutes of action to secure a 68-65 win.
