Women’s Lacrosse Set to Host First Prospect Camps

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Women's lacrosse is the newest addition to Lynn University athletics and head coach Mindy Richmond is prepping to fill the roster with prospective future stars as the program announced its first set of Prospect Camps to be held this winter.

Lynn University's women's lacrosse Prospect Day Camps are for high school aged lacrosse players (rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors) who have an interest in playing college lacrosse. This is an instructional, but mostly game-oriented camp. Your lacrosse skills will be evaluated by college coaches.

Throughout the winter, there are three different sessions being offered. The first session is Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, followed by Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019, and finally Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019. All three sessions are from 10:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and the cost is $45 per camper, per session.

Prospect Day will take place at Lynn University's Bobby Campbell Stadium. Throughout the day, players will be given an introduction to the Fighting Knights program along with an NCAA compliance talk with head coach Mindy Richmond. There will be lunch provided for the athletes followed by a campus tour and on-field sessions

If you are planning to fly, book flights into Fort Lauderdale (FLL), West Palm Beach (PBI) or Miami International Airport (MIA).
