Pensacola, Fla. – The third-seeded Lynn University women's tennis pairing of Rosalie Willig and Diana Bogolii posted an 8-4 semifinal victory on Sunday to claim a spot in the USTA/ITA South Region doubles championship, hosted by the University of West Florida.
Willig and Bogolii squared off against Nova Southeastern's Sabrina Kierberg and Petra Jurova on Sunday, pulling through with an 8-4 victory to advance to Monday morning's championship match. The duo will take on Nova's other doubles team for the title, consisting of Irina Constantinide and Nastassia Rubel.
In the singles draw, Bogolii's run came to an end following a 6-3, 6-1 setback to Saint Leo's Natalia Siedliska in the semifinals.
Willig and Bogolii hit the court Monday, Sept. 28 at 9 a.m. in the doubles championship match.
