Women’s Tennis Keeps Rolling at USTA/ITA National Championships

Sumter, S.C. The Lynn University women's tennis doubles team of Rosalie Willig and Diana Bogolii picked up another straight-set victory on Saturday to advance to Sunday's championship match in the 'Super Bowl' bracket at the 2015 USTA/ITA National Small College Championships.

The Blue & White tandem was crowned the Division II champions on Friday to qualify for the Super Bowl, which consists of the winners from DII, DIII, NAIA, and JUCO.

Lynn recorded a 7-6, 6-3 victory in the Super Bowl semifinal by defeating the winner's from Division III, Wesleyan's Eudice Chong and Victoria Yu.

Willig and Bogolii look to become the first Lynn women's doubles team to win the Super Bowl in school history. They will have to get through Megane Bianco and Macarena Olivares from ASA College Miami (JUCO) in the title match. The contest is slated to begin at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow, Sunday, Oct. 18.
