Daytona Beach, Fla. – On the road for the second day in a row, the fifth-ranked Lynn University women's tennis team posted yet another sweep over a nationally-ranked opponent on Wednesday afternoon with an 8-0 decision against No. 31 Embry-Riddle.

  • Wins in all three doubles matches gave the Blue & White an early lead. 
  • Lynn posted identical 8-4 wins at the top two flights. Fourth-ranked Diana Bogolii and Rosalie Willig made up the top pair with Grace Mpassy and Martina Gledacheva following up at No. 2. Carolina Cuevas and Alina Jane brought home the final doubles contest, 8-3.
  • Following an Embry-Riddle 'no contest' at the No. 6 spot, the Blue & White needed two wins out of the top-five singles matches.
  • All five Fighting Knights cruised to straight-set victories to notch the sweep.
  • Bogolii blanked her opponent at the top spot (6-0, 6-0), while Cuevas and Gledacheva each won 6-1, 6-0 at the fourth and fifth flights, respectively.
  • Mpassy took the No. 3 match 6-0, 6-2, while Willig had the closest battle of the day at No. 2 with a 6-2, 6-3 triumph.


  • The Fighting Knights have never lost to the Eagles.
  • Willig and Mpassy both remain undefeated in singles play.

Lynn gets back into conference action this weekend with two home matchups, starting with Eckerd College at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 1.
