Lakeland, Fla. – Women's tennis seniors Diana Bogolii and Rosalie Willig captured the singles and doubles championships for Lynn University on Monday morning at the ITA South Regional. Bogolii was crowned the singles champ with Willig placing second, preceded by the duo teaming up for their second consecutive doubles title. The Fighting Knights now qualify for the ITA Oracle Cup in Arizona, where they will compete against the fellow Division II regional winners.

- In a no contest, Bogolii is crowned the singles champion with Willig taking second for runner-up honors. Bogolii did not lose a set of singles tennis throughout the tournament.
- Going up against Barry's second-seeded pairing of Daria Salnikova and Sonja Larsen, top-seeded and defending champions Bogolii and Willig punched their ticket back to the DII national championships with a straight-set victory in the title match (6-2, 6-4).
- Bogolii claims the third regional singles championship in the past four years for the Fighting Knights (Valentine Confalonieri, 2013-14).
- Bogolii and Willig were the doubles champions at this event last year, and would advance on to win the Small College National Championship and then the Super Bowl.
The ITA Oracle Cup is slated for Oct. 13-16 in Surprise, Ariz., where the winners of each regional tournament will meet for the Division II title. The duo and the rest of the squad however will first have a tune-up weekend at Rollins' annual C.L. Varner Invite on Oct. 7-9.
