Women’s Tennis Remains Unbeaten in Conference

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University's women's tennis team improved to 5-0 in Sunshine State Conference play on Tuesday afternoon as the fourth-ranked Fighting Knights cruised past Eckerd College, 8-1.

  • Lynn lost just two games total in doubles action.
  • Eleonora Liga and Federica Mordegan blanked their opponents at No. 2 doubles, 8-0.
  • Klaudia Boczova and Eliska Petrackova along with Diana Bogolii and Anastacia Parkin posted 8-1 victories at the first and third doubles flights, respectively.
  • Lynn carried the momentum into singles play as five Fighting Knights lost two games or less in their respective matches.
  • 17th-ranked Boczova (6-0, 6-0) and Mordegan (6-1, 6-1) got things going at the top of the lineup.
  • 41st-ranked Bogolii (6-1, 6-0) and Petrackova (6-0 6-1) both nearly swept their opponents at the three and four positions.
  • Liga closed out the Blue and White's scoring with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 5.
  • The Tritons notched their lone point with a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at No. 6 singles.


  • Lynn and Barry are the last remaining teams still undefeated in conference play.
  • Boczova has now won three singles matches this season without dropping a game.

Lynn has a big matchup this weekend when Saint Leo comes to town for a 10 a.m. SSC contest on Saturday, March 31.
