The Lynn University athletic department hosted its seventh annual Student-Athlete Recognition Awards show on Wednesday evening, handing out a record 44 awards to Fighting Knight student-athletes while also inducting the 18th Hall of Fame class.
The Lynn University track team competed in the final meet of its inaugural season on Friday night, taking part in the North Florida Invite hosted by the University of North Florida in Jacksonville.
After inking one athlete during the fall signing period, Lynn University’s head cross country and track coach Chris Wood announced the addition of five student-athletes to the program for the 2018-19 season.
Despite less-than-perfect weather conditions at the meet, the Lynn University track team picked up a pair of top-10 finishers in the 800-meter run and saw four personal records fall on the final day of competition at the Spikes Classic hosted by Embry-Riddle.
The Lynn University track team returned to action on Friday night, hitting the track at Embry-Riddle for day one of the Spikes Classic.
