  • Volleyball Secures AVCA Team Academic Honors

    Under first-year head coach Adam Milewski, Lynn University’s volleyball team has received the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 11th consecutive year. The AVCA announced 764 teams to receive the Team Academic Award for the 2015-2016 season, breaking the 2014-2015 record of 757 programs.

    BOCA RATON, Fla. – There was hardly an empty seat in the house Friday night as the Lynn University volleyball team battled 17th-ranked Palm Beach Atlantic inside the de Hoernle Sports and Cultural Center. Lynn (5-2) got on top first with a 25-22 win in the opener, but the Sailfish rattled off three straight to take the match in four and improve to 6-2 on the season.
