BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University's volleyball team was never able to find its rhythm on Saturday afternoon as the Eckerd Tritons downed the Fighting Knights in three sets for the Sunshine State Conference victory.

STATS OF THE MATCH:

  • Sonja Udovcic logged her seventh straight double-double and was the only Lynn attacker in double figures, finishing with 16 digs, two aces and 11 kills at a .346 hitting percentage.
  • Libero Ariana Rodriguez joined Udovcic in double figures defensively, scooping up 12 digs.
  • Nicol Colonna recorded 18 assists, four kills and five digs. Angala Jensen entered the match in the second set, tallying five assists after Lynn switched to a 6-2 formation.
  • Marcella De Vuono knocked down five kills and added a block.

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:

  • The Tritons (.207) posted a difference-making advantage in hitting percentage over the Fighting Knights (.037).
  • Udovcic records her seventh consecutive double-double and her 20th on the year.
  • With a 3-1 win earlier this season in St. Petersburg, the Tritons sweep the season series for the first time since 2012.
