Le Tertre Earns USTFCCCA All-Region Recognition

New Orleans, La. – After running a program-record 6k time at the NCAA South Region Championships on Saturday morning, Lynn University women's cross country newcomer Emannuelle Le Tertre has been named to the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region team.

Le Tertre clocked a time of 22:09.29 to place seventh at the meet on Nov. 17. She became the second runner in program history to finish inside the top-10 at the NCAA Regionals.

A total of 200 women from 94 teams earned All-Region distinction by finishing in the top 25 at one of the eight regional meets across the country. Le Tertre is one of 10 runners from the Sunshine State Conference to earn All-Region honors.

This is the third accolade awarded to Le Tertre in the past week after being named Sunshine State Conference Freshman of the Year and Second Team All-SSC by the league office last Wednesday.

Le Tertre is the third runner in program history to earn All-Region honors. Alexandra Jones received the honor last year and Gabriella Wuyke earned it in 2012.
