BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 28^th-ranked Lynn men's tennis team posted its second win at Perper Tennis Complex this spring with a 7-0 shutout of LIU, Thursday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights kicked off the match by winning second and third doubles
- Senior Diego Gonzalez and sophomore Gianmarco Amatiste defeated Akhil Indrabalan and Lucas Hornung, 6-4, in the second flight
- Gonzalez and Amatiste are now 6-1 in doubles action this season
- Freshmen Ray Chavez and Yaron Guberman beat Gui Medeiros and Tuna Nergizoglu at No. 3 doubles, 6-2
- The Fighting Knight swept the six singles matches
- Gonzalez took the top flight from Philip Hilble, 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 7-5
- Sophomore Gabriele Felline defeated Ales D'Anna in No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-2
- He is now 4-1 in the second flight this season
- Guberman defeated Sergio Fernandez Romera 6-3, 6-4 in the third flight
- He is now 4-2 in No. 3 singles this year
- Amatiste posted a 6-4, 6-3 win over Indrabalan in the fourth flight and he is now 6-1 in singles
- Chavez moved past Ishchanka in the fifth flight, 6-1, 6-2 and remains undefeated at 4-0 this spring
- Freshman Haktan Garayev rallied for a 1-6, 6-2, 7-5 win over Nergizolu in the sixth flight
