th-ranked Lynn University men's tennis team had its season come to a close on Friday with a 4-1 loss to No. 1 Saint Leo in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

rd trip to the NCAA Tournament.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead after winning the first and second doubles flights
- Sophomore

Ray Chavez posted a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles over the 31
st-ranked team Martin Soukal and Vincent Thiel
- The duo caps the season at 4-1 in doubles
- Freshman
Yaron Guberman and sophomore
Gabriele Felline earned a 7-6 (9-7) win at No. 2 doubles over Ghali Mensour and Ivan Marrero
- The Lions (21-2) rallied for the win by taking the second, fourth, fifth and sixth singles flights
- In the top singles flight, Gonzalez led No. 4 Ivan Marrero 6-4, 1-6, 4-1, but the match went unfinished as Saint Leo captured the win. Marrero is 18-0 on the season.
- Guberman had his match at the third singles flight called early as well with the score 5-7, 6-1 against No. 28-ranked Thiel
- Chavez lost at No. 5 singles to Luis Iriarte, 6-3, 2-6, 4-6
