DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Lynn University men's tennis team dropped a Sunshine State Conference match at No. 16 Embry-Riddle, 5-2, Thursday afternoon. The Fighting Knights are now 5-5 on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Eagles captured the first and second flight in doubles for the first team point
- Junior
Gabriele Felline and sophomore
Aymen Alimoussa posted a 7-5 win at No. 3 doubles
- Junior
Haktan Garayev and sophomore
Yaron Guberman lost in the top flight to Joshua Nuyts and Michele Lftimie 7-6 (9-7)
- Guberman rallied from an early deficit for a 2-6, 6-1, 6-4 win over Lftimie in No. 3 singles
- He is now 6-1 in singles this season and 2-0 in the third flight
- Junior
Gianmarco Amatiste posted a 5-7, 6-2, 11-9 victory over Calen Potts in the fifth singles flight
- Amatiste is now 5-3 in singles
