BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Lynn men's tennis team dropped the final game of the 2025 regular season to the second-ranked Barry Bucs in Sunshine State Conference play, Thursday afternoon.

With the loss, the Fighting Knights capped off the year with a 9-6 overall record and a 2-5 stretch in SSC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn took the doubles point after a pair of hard-fought battles in the first and second flights
- The No. 30-ranked pair of
Alessio Demichelis and
Davide Cortimiglia triumphed in a grueling 7-6 (7-3) victory over the No.31-ranked duo of Leo Caill and Adam Lynch in No. 1 doubles
- The duo is now a perfect 5-0 playing in the top spot

Aymen Alimoussa and
Santino Morel picked up a major victory in the No. 2 spot, downing the 45th ranked pair of
Gabriele Felline and Tim Riedel
- Alimoussa and Morel are now 5-5 this season playing in a variation of the No. 1 and 2 spots
- Demichelis picked up the only singles victory of the afternoon, winning a gritty 5-7, 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (10-8) contest against No.31-ranked Riccardo Trione in the top spot
- Demichelis has won his last two matches and is 6-3 in No. 1 singles
