LAKELAND, Fla. - The Lynn University men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to No. 14 Florida Southern on Friday afternoon. The Fighting Knights fall to 2-1 overall on the season with the setback.

- Florida Southern secured the doubles point, winning all three flights
- The Mocs extended their lead in singles play, winning five of six courts to secure the match

Aymen Alimoussa provided Lynn's lone point with a straight-sets victory at No. 2 singles, defeating Matthew Hewitt, 6-2, 6-3

Lennart Ostheimer battled in a three-set match at No. 4 singles, dropping the opening set 6-1 before responding with a 7-5 second-set win, but ultimately falling 6-3 in the decisive third set

Santino Morel forced a third set at No. 3 singles after splitting the opening two frames, but ultimately dropped a tight three-set decision
