ORLANDO, Fla. - The Sunshine State Conference has announced the 2025-26 All-SSC Women's Swimming Teams and the Lynn University women's swimming program earned First Team recognition as sophomore
Mariele De Santis was named to the All-SSC First Team following a standout performance at the conference championships.
De Santis became Lynn's lone representative on this year's All-Conference teams after delivering a dominant showing at the 2026 SSC Championships in Ocala, where the Fighting Knight women finished third overall with 508 points.
The Artena, Italy native put together one of the strongest championship weeks in program history, collecting three individual medals. De Santis captured silver in the 400 Individual Medley and added bronze medals in both the 200 IM and 200 Fly, scoring crucial points that helped propel Lynn to the podium finish.
Throughout the meet, De Santis showcased her versatility and endurance, consistently qualifying for championship finals and delivering under pressure in multiple events. Her performances solidified her position among the conference's elite and earned her first career First Team All-SSC selection.
With a third-place conference finish and a First Team All-SSC honoree, DeSantis and the Lynn women continue to build momentum as they prepare for postseason competition and aim to carry their championship form onto the national stage.
