ORLANDO, Fla. - The Lynn University men's tennis team upset No. 10 Wingate University, earning a 4-2 victory on Wednesday afternoon at the USTA National Campus.
With the win, the Fighting Knights improve to 5-3 overall on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn captured the doubles point with wins on the first and third courts
- At No. 1 doubles,
Louay Makke and
Davide Cortimiglia earned a 6-3 victory over Emil Remsted and Martino Colabella

Lennart Ostheimer followed with a 6-3 decision at No. 3 doubles against Rodrigo De la Torre and Jashan Joachim
- In singles play,
Aymen Alimoussa delivered a straight-set 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 2 over Ruben LeBron
- Alves added another point at No. 3 singles, defeating Remsted 6-4, 7-6
- Cortimiglia battled to a three-set victory at No. 6, topping Joachim 6-4, 1-6, 10-8 to win it for the Blue and White
