Junior (2015): Posted a 16-5 record in singles action, all at the No. 1 position...went 13-8 in doubles, primarily at the No. 2 flight...named ITA All-America in singles, becoming the 69th All-America selection in program history and 55th since Lynn joined the NCAA...finished the season ranked 10th in the nation on the sixth-ranked Fighting Knights squad...earned All-SSC First Team accolades in singles and All-SSC Second Team honors in doubles for the second consecutive year...won the Division II doubles title with Paolo Volpicelli at the USTA/ITA National Small College Championships during the fall season.
Sophomore (2014): Went 15-6 in singles with a 2-0 record against regionally ranked opponents... teamed with partner Paolo Volpicelli for a 10-12 doubles record, 3-3 in SSC play... the duo finished the season ranked 11th just missing All-America honors... finished the season ranked in the top-50 for singles... won his first match against St. Thomas' Grover Ordonez on February 3, 2014, 6-0, 6-3, and his first SSC match against Eckerd's Nikita Vuluiskikh, 6-0, 6-1... played as Lynn's No. 2 singles player in 20 matches and No.1 in doubles the entire season... earned All-SSC First Team accolades in singles and All-SSC Second Team honors in doubles...
Prior to Lynn: Played his freshman season at Cornell University where he was one of just three competitors to appear in all 25 of the Big Red's dual matches, going 10-13 while competing around the middle of the order in singles matches. He had a pair of victories in Ivy League play, defeating Columbia's Nathaniel Gery and Princeton's Augie Bloom in straight sets to bookend the Big Red's league slate. Riggs had a three-match winning streak in early March, including a victory over Illinois State's Skip Span — who led his team in victories at the time. Riggs was also 5-14 in doubles, posting an even 2-2 mark while competing with classmate Quoc-Daniel Nguyen at the No. 3 spot. In fall tournament play, Riggs was 6-3 and advanced to the Round of 32 at the USTA/ITA Northeast Regional Championships in October. He was also 4-3 in fall doubles competitions with sophomore Evan McElwain, sweep all three tilts a non-scoring quad match against Yale, Army and Binghamton in October.
High School: Riggs, the grandson of former world champion Bobby Riggs, has been tabbed a blue-chip recruit with a five-star rating by the Tennis Recruiting Network. He has ranked as high as 19th in the USTA Boys’ 18 rankings. At Pompano Beach high school, he won the 2010 high school doubles championship. He also won the National Team title with Florida in 2010 and the Florida State doubles championship in 2009.
