Biography

Senior (2019): Has posted the best doubles record on the team in all four seasons he's been at Lynn...earned his first career Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week accolade (3/11)...finished the season with an 11-4 singles record, playing primarily at the fourth flight...went 6-1 in SSC singles contests...had another strong season in doubles action, logging a 12-4 overall record split between all three flights...was 6-1 in SSC doubles matches...spent five weeks nationally ranked in singles, closing out the year ranked No. 69...has accumulated a 50-22 record in singles play and a 63-22 record in doubles during his four-year career.

Junior (2018):
Tallied a 15-6 singles record, going 9-2 from the No. 6 position…amassed a 6-2 record in SSC play…tied for second on the team in singles wins…collected 15 wins and 9 losses in doubles, playing mostly at the No. 2 slot…his 15 doubles victories were a team-high...teamed with Kay Bartmann to win 8-3 over Valdosta State’s No. 15 Kim/Holm (2/10)…won five straight singles matches to close out the season. 

Sophomore (2017): 
Held the best doubles record on the team at 20-4, playing primarily at the No. 2 flight...went 4-3 in SSC doubles matches...won two doubles matches over nationally-ranked foes...tallied a 12-6 singles record on the season between the three, four, five and six spots...was 4-2 in singles SSC competition...defeated 23rd-ranked Dias/Roese at No. 2 doubles, 8-6, from No. 1 West Florida in the NCAA South Region Final.

Freshman (2016): Recorded the most doubles victories on the team, posting a 16-7 record in pairs play including a perfect 5-0 mark in SSC matches...went 15-6 at No. 3 doubles...tied for the second most singles wins on the team, finishing with a 13-6 record...clinched the match for Lynn in singles in the 5-4 win over No. 46 Grand Valley St. (3/11) and in the 5-4 upset over No. 6 Embry-Riddle (3/30)...earned SSC Commissioner Honor Roll recognition for earning a 3.2 grade point average or better...named an ITA Scholar-Athlete. 

Personal: Born July 6, 1997...son of Nuria Ordonez Montero and Jose Porfirio Bruzon...has one sibling, Nino...majoring in business and management...enjoys soccer, music and spending time with friends.
