Junior (2020): Competed in eight of Lynn’s 10 matches…tallied a 6-2 record at No. 1 Singles…posted a 3-3 record in doubles action…helped lead Lynn to a No. 17-ranking and was ranked No. 6 individually in the South Region…named an ITA Scholar-Athlete…named to the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Sophomore (2019): Named the ITA South Region Player to Watch, marking the second player in program history to garner the award...was a First Team All-Sunshine State Conference Singles selection...played at the No. 2 singles flight for Lynn in every match this season, posting a 15-4 overall record with a 6-2 mark in SSC play...went 2-2 vs. nationally-ranked opponents and was nationally ranked in singles for two weeks...his 15 singles victories were tied for most on the squad...logged a 14-4 overall record in doubles, primarily at the second flight, and was 6-2 in SSC action.

Prior to Lynn: Played his freshman year at the University of Tulsa…earned ITA Scholar-Athlete status, maintaining at 3.87 GPA…won 15 singles matches for the Golden Hurricanes, playing at the three, four, and five positions…totaled nine wins in doubles.

High School: Attended Colegio Anglo-Americano.

Personal: Born on January 18, 1999…son of Jacques Baptista and Karina Shizue Takeda…majoring in International Business.
