Graduate (2023-24): Participated in 10 meets ... At the SSC Championships, swam personal best in the 50 free (22.12) and season bests in the 200 free (1:44.34) and 500 free (4:49.65) ... House of Champions Invitational (11/16-18) swam personal best in the 100 free (47.04). 

Senior (2022-23): Swam in 11 meets … Set two personal bests in the 100 free (47.68) and 200 free (1:43.84) and a season best in the 1,000 free (10:09.76) at the SSC Championships … Opened the season with fourth place in the 50 free (24.32) against Keiser and Ave Maria

Junior (2021-2022): Participated in 8 meets for the Fighting Knights...swam season best 200 Y Free (1:46.36), 500 Y Free (4:51.72), 1000 Y Free (10:14.38), and 1650 Y Free (17:10.12) at the SSC Championships.

Sophomore (2020-2021): Participated in 3 meets for the Fighting Knights...swam season best 500 Y Free (5:22.39) placing 8th and 1000 Y Free (10:49.05) placing 4th scoring 2 points at the Florida Tech Dual Meet (2/13).

Freshman (2019-2020): Participated in 12 meets for the Fighting Knights…made his debut at the NSU Shark Invitational (10/11), competing in the 200 Free (1:56.22), the 500 Free (5:19.24), and the 200 Free relay (1:34.85)…swam his best 50 Y Free (24.07) and 100 Y Free (49.36) at the SCAD Invitational (12/5-7)…swam his fastest 200 Y Free (1:46.36), 500 Y Free (4:48.14), 1000 Y Free (10:03.44), and 1650 Y Free (17:02.19) at the 2020 SSC Championships (2/15)…swam his best 50 Y Fly (29.11) and 100 Y Fly (1:03.53) against Carson-Newman (1/4)…named to the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

High School: Attended Father Lopez Catholic High School…named his team’s MVP as a senior. 

Personal: Born Jan. 1, 2001…son of David Romeo and Melanie Rooney…has five siblings; Jarred, Michael, Joseph, Zach and Nolan…hospitality management major…enjoys fishing in his free time.
