Junior (2016-17): Garnered ITA All-America honors in both singles and doubles...finished the year ranked sixth nationally in singles and fifth in doubles with Florian Clemares...named to the All-Sunshine State Conference Singles First Team and All-SSC Doubles Second Team...nationally-ranked in singles for the majority of the season, reaching as high as No. 5...tabbed the SSC Player of the Week twice (2/6, 4/10)...finished with an 18-5 singles record, going 17-5 at the top flight and 1-0 at No. 2...went 5-1 in SSC singles action...won four singles matches over nationally-ranked opponents...notched a 16-8 doubles record, going 12-6 at No. 1 and 4-2 at No. 2...was a team-best 5-1 in SSC doubles competition...toppled No. 2-ranked Ahmed Triki from No. 2 Barry in three sets at No. 1 singles; 7-5, 5-7, 10-8 (4/9)...defeated the top-ranked doubles team in the country, No. 1 West Florida's Peyrot/Dumont, in the NCAA South Region Final (4/30)...earned SSC Commissioner Honor Roll recognition for earning a 3.2 grade point average or better...named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.

Sophomore (2015-16): Named to the Sunshine State Conference Second Team for singles...was tabbed the SSC Player of the Week on Feb. 29 after posting six wins over four matches...posted a 14-3 record in singles play on the season between the No. 2 and 3 positions, including a perfect 11-0 mark at No. 3...went 5-1 in singles in SSC matches...went 3-1 in singles matches against nationally-ranked opponents...his 14 singles victories on the year was tied for the team-high...went on a 12-match unbeaten streak throughout the season...was 13-7 in doubles action with a 5-1 mark in conference play...his 13 wins in doubles was the second highest on the squad...took down 15th-ranked Egor Panyushkin in straight sets against No. 2 Saint Leo (4/3)...helped lead Lynn past No. 7 Barry in the SSC semifinals with a three-set win over 26th-ranked Nico Dreer...earned SSC Commissioner Honor Roll recognition for earning a 3.2 grade point average or better...named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.

Freshman (2014-15): Went 15-4 in singles playing primarily in the No. 4 slot of Lynn’s lineup…had a 10-game winning streak midway through the season in singles…his most impressive performance was on the road at #2 Embry-Riddle where he defeated Fabian Zierleyn 6-1, 6-2 helping Lynn to win that day 5-4…Laalej went 10-11 with doubles partner Pavel Mojha playing at the No. 1 position for the Fighting Knights…this duo’s efforts helped them get a place on the All-Sunshine State Conference Second Team…earned Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll accolades in the spring for a grade point average of 3.2 or better.

Personal: Born June 6, 1996...has two siblings; Ismail and Brahim...played tennis at Lycee Paul Valery...competed in the Arabic Games African Championships and Junior Davis Cup for Morocco.
