Lynn University

Marissa Bartello joined Lynn University during the 2021 cross country season as the assistant coach for men's and women's cross country and men's and women's track and field.

Prior to joining the Fighting Knights, she ran cross country and track for Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, Calif. As a member of the Sea Lions, Bartello became the first athlete in school history to make it to the track and field NCAA National Championships. As a cross country runner, she was twice selected as a member of the USTFCCCA All-West Region Team. Her biggest racing achievement came on the track when she earned All-American status in the steeplechase.

Bartello recently graduated with her Master’s degree in Sports Administration. As a coach, she strives to help motivate and encourage young athletes through their athletic journeys.
