Fernandez earned First Team accolades as a defender with Horveno and Ostermann appearing on the Second Team as a midfielder and forward, respectively.
Fernandez, a native of Mexico City, became the sixth Fighting Knight to earn Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors a week ago, the first since Jason Sangha in 2014. Fernandez led a defense that racked up four shutouts while holding opponents to a 0.98 goals-against average.
On the Second Team, Horveno, a speedy winger, led the SSC in assists with eight and joined Fernandez as a First Team All-Conference selection.
Ostermann, a Second Team All-SSC honoree, has been catching fire late in the season, tallying a goal and an assist in the Sunshine State Conference Final, earning the SSC's Most Outstanding Player award for the tournament. During the regular season, Ostermann tied for the team-lead with seven goals and ranked sixth in the SSC with 17 total points.
Lynn's three selections match their three D2CCA All-Region nods from 2017 when Niklas Tasky, Alun Webb and Alexander Roth earned the same accolades.
Lynn, holders of the top-seed in Super Region Two and a First Round bye, awaits the winner of eight-seed Queens versus nine-seed Lee in the second round. That Second Round tilt is set for Saturday, Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. at Bobby Campbell Stadium.
