Freshman (2014-15): Appeared in all eight regular season meets…made her debut at the Saint Leo/Florida Tech (10/18) tri meet, competing in the 500 and 1000 free…set five personal records at the NSU Shark Invite (12/18-21): 50 free (25.42), 200 free (1:59.35), 500 free (5:19.27), 1000 free (10:54.09) and 100 fly (56.81)…competed at the Sunshine State Conference Championship (2/19-22), where she posted a career-best time of 55.87 in the 100 free and a best time of 18:22.01 in the 1650 free, earning valuable points for the team…earned SSC Commissioner Honor Roll recognition for earning a 3.2 grade point average or better.

High School: Attended Lely and Comsewogue High School…swam, ran track and played lacrosse…captained Lely’s swim team her junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Born March 20, 1996…daughter of Anna Marino and Eddie Carey…has one sibling; Eddie Carey Jr…criminal justice major…enjoys listening to music, hanging with friends, playing video games and going to the beach in her spare time…favorite quote is ‘Life is like a cold pool that you will have to get in even when you don't want to. If you get in slowly feet first you'll never make it in and just give up but if you dive in head first and try your best even when the situation is difficult’…wants to travel to Italy, Germany and Spain in the future.
