Biography
Junior (2014-15): Participated in all eight regular season events and the NCAA Division II National Championship…named a CSCAA First Team Scholar All-American and Second Team All-Sunshine State Conference selection…won two medals at the SSC Championship, including the first-ever 200 medley relay medal…competed in four events at the NCAA Division II National Championship: 200, 500 and 1000 freestyle and 200 backstroke…swam season-best times in the 100 free (52.40), 200 free (1:52.73), 50 back (27.97) and 400 IM (4:35.65) at the NSU Shark Invitational (12/-18-21)…swam NCAA ‘B’ qualifying times in the 500 (5:00.56) and 1000 free (10:13.19) at the SSC Championship (2/19-22)…earned SSC Commissioner Honor Roll recognition for earning a 3.2 grade point average or better.
Sophomore (2013-14): Shook off a torn ACL to compete in four regular season meets and the NCAA Division II National Championship…earned All-America Honorable Mention accolades in the 200 backstroke and 1000 freestyle…named Second Team All-Sunshine State Conference…collected two individual medals and was a member of the first-ever relay team to medal at the SSC …broke her personal-best 200 individual medley time in the season-opening Saint Leo & Florida Tech Tri-Meet (10/12), taking the win with a time of 2:10.99 while also winning the 1000 & 500 free events…won two individual events and a team relay (400 medley) at Tampa (11/1), the 1000 free and 200 back…earned three individual event victories (1000 free, 500 free and 400 IM) and a 400 medley relay victory against Rollins (11/16)…was a member of the bronze 400 medley team at the Sunshine State Conference Championship (2/19-22)…set her personal-best time in the 1000 free at the SSC Championship (2/19-22) with a time of 10:19.25 and later broke that time with a 10:17.12 at the NCAA Division II Championship (3/12-15)…earned SSC Commissioner Honor Roll recognition for earning a 3.2 grade point average or better…named the Most Valuable Swimmer.
Freshman (2012-13): Competed in all seven regular season meets and the NCAA Championship…earned All-America Honorable Mention honors in the 200 back stroke and 400 individual medley…named Second Team All-Sunshine State Conference, becoming the first player in school history to earn all-conference accolades…swam eight different events throughout the year: 200, 500, 1000 & 1650 free, 100 & 200 back and the 200 & 400 IM…won 10 individual events throughout the season…became the first swimmer in school history to earn a medal at the SSC Championship and first swimmer to garner multiple medals…set several program firsts at the Sunshine State Conference Tri-Meet (10/13), becoming the first swimmer to win an individual event after taking first at the 1000 Free (10:47.68)and first swimmer to win multiple events with a 200 IM (2:12.92) victory, leading up to becoming the first SSC Swimmer of the Week in school history…took first place in the 1000 free (10:49.47) and 200 back (2:09.10) against Tampa (10/27)…earned another 200 backstroke victory (2:08.88) in a tri-meet against Nova Southeastern and Indian River State College (11/17) where she also set a personal-best time in the 1650 free (18:04.12)…set personal best times at the NSU Invitational (12/14-17) in the 200 free (1:54.30) and 100 back (59.08)…won the 1000 free (10:41.81), 400 IM (4:37.55) and 200 back (2:09.48) in tri-meet against Saint Leo & Florida Tech (1/12)…in a dual match at Rollins (1/23), claimed first place in the 200 IM with a personal-best time of 2:12.06, took first in the 500 free (5:11.91) and helped the team’s 4x400 free relay team capture first…placed third in the 400 IM (4:28.95) at the SSC Championship (2/13-16) to claim the first medal in school history and added a silver medal in the 200 back (2:02.40)…competed in four events at the NCAA DII Championship (3/6-9), setting personal-marks in all four events and placing within the top-16 in two…swam a season-best time of 10:20.51 in the 1000 free and 5:03.07 in the 500 free…logged her top-time in the preliminaries of the 400 IM (4:28.50) then put forth a 4:29.29 to finish 13th in the finals…swam her best 200 back (2:00.53) in the finals to finish ninth overall…earned SSC Commissioner Honor Roll recognition for earning a 3.2 grade point average or better…named the Most Valuable Swimmer.
Prior to Lynn: Attended Lycee Balzac…finished 12th at the 2012 French National Championships in the 200m backstroke…earned a grade of A- at the French Baccalaureate examiniation which earned her an appreciation of ‘Bien’ by the Baccalaureate Committee.
Personal: Born June 15, 1994…daughter of Vincent and Marie-Christine Carmigniani…has five siblings; Julie, Remi, Henri, Marie and Denis…undecided in major…would one day like to become a pilot…enjoys drawing and painting in her spare time…favorite book is The Banned and The Banished by James Clemens…favorite movie is Dumb and Dumber…would like to visit Greece in the future.
