Junior Cadet took over as the new head coach of the Lynn University men's and women's cross country and track and field teams in August 2022. Before joining the blue and white, Cadet was an assistant track and field coach at Coastal Carolina University in 2021. During his time there, the Chanticleers ranked in the Top 100 for event groups in NCAA Division I.

Cadet gained an additional year of assistant track and field coaching experience in 2018 at Burbank High School in California before taking full reigns of the program for two years as head coach. In 2021, the team earned the Pacific League Championship, the first in 32 years for the program.Â
Prior to Burbank, Cadet served as an assistant track and field coach for two years at Allen Community College in Iola, Kan., where he was named the 2016 Coach of the Year.
Beginning his college athletic career at Western Kentucky University, Cadet was a Sunbelt Conference team champion in 2010, and was conference team champion once again in 2013 at Middle Tennessee State. Cadet graduated from Middle Tennessee State with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication.
A standout track and field athlete at William T. Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Cadet had a banner year in 2009, earning the Palm Beach Post and Sun Sentinel Track and Field Athlete of the Year awards as well as winning the state championship in the 110-meter hurdles and triple jump.
During his coaching career, Cadet has guided successful athletes such as the 2022 Heptathlon Romania National Champion Beatrice Puiu.
Cadet earned his Master's Degree in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, California.
