Ana Pain joined the Lynn University tennis staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2025.

Pain previously served as the volunteer assistant coach at Barry University during the 2024 season.

A standout player at Barry University from 2014–17, Pain was a two-time national champion. She finished her career with an impressive 55-6 singles record, including 21-2 in Sunshine State Conference play, and was even more dominant in doubles with an 83-14 record and a 28-1 mark in SSC competition. At the time of her graduation, she ranked second in program history in doubles victories and still sits fourth all-time.

Before her collegiate career, Pain competed professionally beginning at age 13 in her native New Caledonia, achieving an ITF ranking of No. 60 and a career-high WTA ranking of No. 300. She reached the doubles quarterfinals at the 2011 French Open, was ranked fifth nationally in France, and trained at the French National Training Base from 2010–13.

In addition to her playing career, Pain has built a strong reputation as a professional coach in South Florida. She worked at Saviano High Performance Tennis in Davie before launching her own company, AP Pro Tennis LLC, in 2023. She holds WTA coaching certification as well as certification from the Professional Tennis Registry.

Pain earned both her bachelor’s degree in biology (2017) and her master’s in public health (2021) from Barry University.
