Chelsey Harness was a selected from a national search as the Assistant Athletics Director for Facilities & Operations at Lynn University as recently announced by Interim Director of Athletics Kathy Kroupa.

Harness brings to Boca a wealth of experience from both the professional and collegiate ranks.

This past year, Harness served as the Manager of Special Events and Operations for Landmark Event Staffing. In that role, she managed major events such as the NFL Super Bowl and Draft, Little League World Series and Twitchcon. She built operational plans for event overlays, coordinated logistical movements and safety for crowd management and organized special event team travel plans, lodging, and transportation.

Prior to Landmark, she served as the Coordinator of Sport Operations for Florida International University executing team travel, supervising game day operations and coordinating student-athlete academics and eligibility.

In 2021, Harness was the Athletics Coordinator at Milligan University. She coordinated student-athlete admission, eligibility and scholarships, while creating essential guidelines for student-athlete success in academics. She also organized travel plans and created a recruiting portal for inter campus student-athlete recruitment.

Harness earned her Master’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Tennessee in 2020, while also working in both the Football Operations department and serving as the Athletics Objective Facilitator. She planned and executed game day operations, coordinated recruiting visits and monitored student-athlete academics.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education Health and Recreation from Maryville College in 2019 and she part of the women's basketball.
A native of East Tennessee, Harness resides in Delray Beach, Fla.
