Madi Prickett

Madison "Madi" Prickett begins her first season as an assistant coach for the Lynn University softball program in 2026 after an outstanding four-year playing career with the Fighting Knights.

A 2024 graduate of Lynn, Prickett returns to her alma mater after working as a behavioral technician with autistic children while also coaching club softball.

One of the top pitchers in program history, Prickett appeared in 113 career games in the circle, making 77 starts while compiling a 37-39 career record with 358 strikeouts. She closed her collegiate career with a standout graduate season in 2025, making 31 appearances and 27 starts while posting a 12-17 record with a team-best 2.86 ERA. She struck out a team-high 168 batters over 176.1 innings, ranking second in the Sunshine State Conference in innings pitched while leading the league with 49 strikeouts looking. Prickett also recorded 17 complete games, three shutouts and one save, highlighted by a career-high 12-strikeout performance against Southwest Minnesota and earning CSC Academic All-District honors.

As a junior in 2024, Prickett appeared in 26 games and made 25 pitching appearances, recording 64 strikeouts in 91.1 innings while also contributing offensively with five doubles and four RBI. She earned victories over No. 6 East Stroudsburg, Keiser and Queens during the season.

During her sophomore campaign in 2023, Prickett went 8-4 with a 3.50 ERA across 74 innings, leading the Fighting Knights with 62 strikeouts while tossing four complete games, one shutout and collecting two saves.

As a freshman in 2022, Prickett made an immediate impact by appearing in 24 games in the circle and striking out 64 batters over 103.2 innings. She also delivered one of the most memorable performances in program history by throwing a no-hitter against Eckerd on April 23, 2022, while adding two home runs and six RBI at the plate.

Prickett brings firsthand knowledge of Lynn's culture and championship expectations to the coaching staff, along with valuable experience in player development through her work in club softball.
