Coach Penna joined the Blue & White for the 2025-26 campaign after a successful season rebuilding and redefining the offense for Emmanuel University.

During the 2025 season, Coach Penna led an offense that finished 10th in scoring offense, 13th in assists, and 1st in overall shot percentage for Division II after the season’s conclusion. Additionally, he was a member of the 2025 Conference Carolinas staff of the year and produced two 1st team all-conference offensive players.

A native of Exeter, NH, Coach Penna played lacrosse at Exeter High School. During his time as a Blue Hawk, he was named an All-American and set the program record for goals (201) at his school. After graduation, Coach Penna began his collegiate playing career at Division I Canisius College. He spent three seasons playing for the Griffins and was credited as a member of the 2021 MAAC All-Academic team.

Prior to Emmanuel Coach Penna served as the Assistant Coach for Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, CA where he helped lead the team on a state title run, losing in the CIF Division III state title game in overtime.
