Sarah Fraska has been named Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Services/SWA effective January 2024. Fraska will be responsible for the continued oversight of the department’s athletic training staff and will take on supervision of other student-athlete services including strength and conditioning, as well as student-athlete nutrition, mental health initiatives and campus wellness. Administratively, Fraska will be responsible for collaboration with human resources and student affairs offices and will assume the Senior Woman Administrator duties within the department and conference.

Fraska has over 10 years of experience at Lynn, having served as the head athletic trainer since 2015 and after having previously served three years as an assistant athletic trainer with the Fighting Knights. She has been a member of the athletic department senior leadership team for six years and has been serving on the campus wellness task force for over a year.

Fraska arrived in Boca Raton following two years at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs where she served as a graduate assistant and was the primary athletic trainer for volleyball, women’s basketball, cross country and track & field. Her responsibilities included injury management, rehabilitation design, administration of treatments, practice coverage, home and away coverage and documentation. While at UCCS, she and earned her Master of Sport Medicine degree.

Fraska also staffed numerous camps and tournaments including USA Volleyball High Performance Camp and Tournament, University of Central Florida Volleyball Camp, University of Florida Women’s and Men’s Basketball Camp and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Basketball Tournament.

In 2010, Fraska received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Florida. She is a Board certified athletic trainer and holds state certification in Florida. She is also certified in Basic Life Support CPR/AED and first aid from the American Red Cross.

Fraska currently holds membership in the National Athletic Trainer’s Association, Southeastern Athletic Training Association, and Athletic Trainers Association of Florida.

Formerly Sarah Holton, she married her husband Mitch Fraska in October of 2018.
